The public view and trust for the media has undergone significant changes during the past few years. The latest Gallup Poll indicates that only 28 percent of Americans have confidence in newspapers, television, or radio to report the news fully and fairly. Nearly 70 per cent say they don't! In fact, many place more trust in Congress instead. Michael Weissman explains why the media is viewed with such skepticism and how that can be remedied.
