George Williams invites you to relax, enjoy, and learn about America’s singular musical art form. Each week focuses on one or more of the giants of 20th century jazz, including Duke Ellington, Artie Shaw, Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Ahmad Jamal, and Herbie Hancock. The Ladies of Jazz including Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Miss Peggy Lee, and others will be represented. Brief commentary will be provided, but the focus will be on listening to the music itself. Center membership required.
