For the last 100 years Hollywood has had a long and sometimes unusual relationship with the war that defined our country. Hundreds of movies have been produced about the American Civil War, featuring most of the great Hollywood acting stars. Some of these movies are great, like Gone with the Wind, some not so great, and some just plain awful.
