Watercolor is an exciting, challenging medium. Ingrid will take you through the basic watercolor washes, brush strokes, timing of the paint application, elements and principles of design, and color theory as well as provide tips to get WOW results in your painting and to overcome the fear of the white paper. Each class will begin with a lesson and then move onto a class painting demonstration by Ingrid. You will then choose your own subject to paint with Ingrid's help, followed by a group critique where everyone will learn from each other. You will be given paints and paper as part of the class fee. Brushes, pallets, and other supplies are provided for your use in the classroom but remain with the studio.
