The Alzheimer’s Association will share basic facts and figures regarding Alzheimer's and other dementias. Participants will learn about risk factors—modifiable and non-modifiable—for Alzheimer's and other dementias; highlights in early detection and diagnosis, including biomarkers and how they are used in dementia research; and the latest advances in clinical trials, treatments, and lifestyle interventions. An Open House at NSSC's House of Welcome (HOW) Adult Day Program from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. will follow the presentation.
